The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft, effectively damaging the follicle and reducing future growth—while the sapphire cooling tip keeps the skin protected and comfortable throughout the session.

What Is Recovery Like After LightSheer® Laser Hair Removal?
There is no downtime required after LightSheer® laser hair removal. Some patients may experience mild redness or swelling, but this usually resolves within a few hours.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning in the treated area for at least two weeks, and apply SPF 30+ sunscreen if going outside.
You may start to see results within one to three weeks, as the treated hair begins to shed.
